The bunker survey allows you to determine the amount of fuels and lubricants on board the vessel. These survey inspections are an important measure to prevent losses, since the documentation on the bunkering operations of the vessel is a mandatory requirement for the settlement of disputes or claims.
Incorrect sampling and distribution of fuel samples may jeopardize the settlement of subsequent claims in a lawsuit.
Bunker survey is also carried out during the inspection of the vessel when entering / leaving the charter.
